No idea really... People who breed them say they're harmless, and others say to be careful with them.

I know someone who used to have an adult, he'd feed it mainly DOR snakes, and sometimes he'd do feeding trials with baby kingsnakes he'd buy wholesale. Kingsnakes that may be immune to rattle snake venom, are not so immune to mussurana saliva...
Another buddy of mine told me to watch out when I'm around those things because his friend had been bit by one and his arm swelled up.
I handled them the day I got them, but they're always hungry so if you're pulling the drawer out you're gonna need a mouse to give it or a snake hook to keep it in the drawer. Half the time they'll attack the snake hook.
