An Alabama Park Walk_Off topic

I flew into Alabama for business earlier this week.







I was very fortunate that I got out of northern Alabama just an hour or so before the sheet hit the fan!



However, the day before the bad weather hit, I was able to spend a few hours at a great park walking around... I found a few amazing things!











Many Northern Slimy Salamanders (Can you say super glue!!! I don't recommend picking these guys up!!!)













and a baby











Then I found this amazing Speckled King (female):















She was out looking for other herps as well!



Just when I thought my day was over, I flipped a 20ft board and found 3 of these jewels,NORTHERN RED SALAMANDERS!!!!



















How can you not want one of these...they are so freakin cute!



Every one of these guys were a first for me...I was so glad I took the time to search!



All these pics were taken with my phone, but they turned out ok.
