I got four eggs from a Dinker x Dinker. I have posted a pic of the male before, but here he is again. I do not have any pics of the female, but she looks very similar to the male. I got the male in Los Angeles, and the female in Vegas.
Unfortunatly, three of the four eggs went bad. They were not fertile. When the fourth egg went past day 60/61, I decided to cut it in case there was an issue with the baby. I just slit the egg, hoping it would come out on its own. It did not, so on day 64 or so, I cut the egg completly. I saw a large portion of the yolk and the umbilicle cord looked very thick. I took it down to a buddy of mine, Kyle @ The Reptile Shop in Temecula, CA, to see what his thoughts were. We performed a minor surgery on the snake (he did, I just held the snake) using dental floss to cut the yolk away. We had let the snake sit overnight, and it did absorb some of the yolk, and the remaining yolk was a gooy mess. Over the next few days, the umbilicle cord dried up some, and was cut off and some fell off on its own. I checked on the snake today, and the umbilicle hole has almost completely closed up and healed. The snake looks a bit preamie, but looks way better now. I was concerned early on, with the lack of tongue flicking, but now, the snake seems to be flicking away and I could not be happier. There were no Hypo or Caramel genes that I know of, in the breeding. You can click on the Image link for a full body shot.
