Not dental floss stiches, my bad for not explaining what we did. We, OK, Kyle took the dental floss and wrapped it around the umbilicle cord mass about an inch or so away from the snakes body, and pulled the two ends, which cut the umbilicle cord. The actual opening into the snakes body has pretty much healed nicely on its own. I need to get a few post op pics
