Why is she on her side?

I checked on my collection tonight and noticed this female laying on her side on the "hot" side of her cage. I haven't seen this before since I'm not too experienced with pythons, I'm more of a boa guy. She was with a male pied about a month or so ago but no activity was noticed so he was pulled. Any info is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
