Provide several tight fitting cork tubes at different places in the cage. One should be near the basking spot and one on the cool side. They like to take refuge in such tubes. Being a shy species the tubes will help them feel more secure. Also adding some oak leaves over the top of your substrate will give the lizard something to forage in.
