hondo male biting female

Hallo,I borrowed albino bicolor male from my friend to breed my anery female.The problem is that after two weeks being together only thing that male was doing was biting females body in the middle parts.He didnt try to wrap the tail and seems very lazy to me.Is there someone who has simular situation in breeding hondos?
