We have to wait until the Wardens receive a "Legislative Update" when/if the bill gets signed. The legislative update will surely be followed with interpretations by their legal Dept. If it interpreted to include headlights, it doesn't matter if you wait until it crawls off the road or not if you spotted it with your headlights initially. Walking the cuts is OK for sure. While walking the cuts according to the text of the law and definitions, you can also find/hunt/collect them on the paved shoulder as defined by the Trans Code. The only gray area is is going to be if they are going to push the, "well you used your headlights to find it" bull. There is allot to be discussed and the details are best discussed off of a forum.

I sincerely hope that officials at TP&WL don't push the headlight thing. If they do, hard feelings are surely going to persist and the inevitable roadside back and forth will continue. This "us against them" is getting old.
