Posted by: ShadyLady at Mon May 30 19:52:33 2011 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by ShadyLady ] My candycane had an egg stuck way up. I massaged her a couple of times and the egg came down to the vent and has stayed there a few days now. She was in shed, and I thought (hoped) she would push it out when she shed. She didn't, so today I made my first attempt at aspirating an egg. My son helped hold her. I got maybe 4 to 5 cc out - milky looking stuff. Had to stick her twice to get that much. Egg size has gone down, but NOW WHAT? Do I just hope she'll pass it? My vet is pretty much worthless with this. I lost one last year to egg binding. Vet said he couldn't do anything about it. Hopefully, she'll eat tonight and maybe that'll help? She's so sweet I don't want to lose her. | ||
