If you have roadcuts in your area, try flipping rocks on and around them. I've heard of a lot of eastern milks being found in Kentucky this way. If you ever decide you want to hunt the sand prairie in Indiana/Illinois for bull snakes, I'd almost guarantee a few eastern milks.
