This was a good topic and I hope it can continue.
I'm hoping this one stays on topic also.
I also want to know what I'm getting. As many of you know I was one of the lucky ones who got a trio of het albinos that started popping out hypos. I have found that the hard part is knowing which line they are coming from. I've had many of you give me your opinions and I am still sitting with a pretty even split, so I pulled mine off of the classifieds and am still trying to piece together all of the info. Many people say they are nice Evans, others say smoke and few say something else. No matter what they are, I am pleased but it is hard to market something without some background.
I made the mistake last year of selling an albino male to a guy who contacted me within two weeks saying the baby would not eat.
In our conversation food never came up. It was not that I wasn't wanting him to know that I had been feeding live pinkies, it just slipped both of our minds. I asked him if he had any access (pet stores incldued) to buy live pinkies and told him that I would walk him through switching the animal to F/T. I also offered to buy the animal back(which I did end up doing). At this point of our conversation it came up that he no access to mice period and had been trying to feed it crickets, roaches, and goldfish, because his mom would not let him have mice, alive or dead, in the house!! LOL He ate F/t for me within a few days of being home too.
Because I found out that the "guy" was only 16, I ended up paying shipping both ways and lost money all because I let food slip my mind during the transaction. ----- Steve Perry
