First off: NOTHING is "foolproof".
That's a jinx if I've ever heard one...
Second, depending on how long the eggs have been incubating, dimpling is fine; they usually dimple two weeks before hatching. Anything before that, and they are dehydrated.
I'm guessing if they are as new as the tone of your post reflects, you are nowhere near 90% humidity. Increase the humidity.
