The animal that has been called the Pastel Calico Champagne was captive bred in Africa last year and sold in Europe. If that is truly what it is, then it is definitely counterintuitive to what would be expected based on the looks of the Pastel Champagne and the Calico Champagne. I think we also need to keep in mind that all Calicos/Sugars may not be the same thing.



I have a shot at a Pastel Calico Champagne leter this season, and I think a few other breeders may also, so hopefully all our questions will be answered soon!
