thanks jason.

actually, i just found out for sure that it is a desert cinny. my wife pointed out that the eyes are not black like a normal cinny, but have a bluish silver upper half where the face stripe goes by. the shots i posted today are pretty terrible. once he sheds i'll put a bit more effort into it and put up better shots.

the fact that it's a male made the odds on that one single egg all that much better!
