My last egg from my last clutch of 2010 was twin albino spiders. They weighed 16 and 21 gr at birth. They looked fine, just tiny. I have had larger twins and runts that didn't make it, so I wasn't expecting a lot. Before the other clutch mates even shed I started assist feeding these two. They assist fed easily, once placing a pinkie in their mouths they swallowed with determination. They grew fine, but wouldn't shed. I kept them very moist, their boxes needed to be cleaned twice a week because of the moisture. They were a few months old and had been assist fed about ten times before they had their first shed. They both shed within a week of each other and ate on their own immediately after shedding. They are both great feeders now and are about 50 gr. I know most of us started doing this because we like snakes, it is easy to get caught up in the business aspect of things and lose sight of why we like this hobby. This is one small accomplishment that I'm proud of.

About a month ago at 45 and 37 gr.

At birth 16 and 21 gr.
