I don't know if they are identical or not, I haven't even tried to sex them. I bred a lot of burms and would get twins once in a while. I bred double hets and there would be lots of possible babies, never did I get two different kinds in one egg. There would be two albinos or patternless or what ever. I never had twins with both a male and female either.
