I think Doug and others answered your question, but I just want to state my opinion on this "hypo".
First, I LOVE it. I think it is an above average vanishing hondo...but I personally wouldn't call it a hypo.
Many would call it a "hypo" because it does in fact have a much "reduced" black pigment in coverage area. However, it has (at least by the photo) normal black pigment saturation. In other words, it's black is black...not dark gray or blotchy gray.
Randy W. produced some AWESOME vanishing pattern Hondos that remind me of this phenotype.
I would guess she's carrying one or two hypo genes, but it would be interesting to see what you could produce from pairing her with a screamer male like Doug has...
The only point I'm trying to make is that there are so many different hypo types out there...it would be nice to distinguish between them.
Maybe we need a chart!
