Posted by: DMong at Fri Jul 29 22:26:36 2011 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by DMong ] Yes, I am very aware of the blanchardi being pretty common in their native habitat on the Yucatan peninsula, just as a hondurensis or polyzona would be in their natural habitat, but certainly not in any collections in the US or Europe either that anyone I know is aware of at all. That was really the point I was trying to make. I only know of this ONE single bloodline and a couple blanchardi in a couple zoos, Nashville Zoo being one of them. The original female of my bloodline was acquired from the Moscow Zoo in Russia, but passed away some years ago. [ Hide Replies ]
