Mochas are still one of those projects that new info comes out with each breeding. Originally the traits for mocha were Large wide saddles and extra wide banding. The coloration varied from brown to gray blotches. Background coloration is white to light gray. In most examples, background coloration is limited to around 20% of the overall coloration. Another feature is the enlarged double spots immediately behind the head patterning. Last season, Louie Chavez hatched out mochas that were nearly completely banded. The banding is wider than that seen in the red, albino, and het albino lines. Another trait is black ventrals. occasionally the black coloration will begin to come up the sides of the snakes.
