It has since turned into what looks like a large gash from just behind the nose to between the eyes. It is red, dry and scabby, and all of the surrounding scales seem puckered toward it. The scales surrounding the gash also seem to be slowly flaking off. I do not think the snake had any opportunity to injure herself and I do not feed it live prey. [ Hide Replies ]
