I saw someone advertising Dusty's from New Mexico. They are not found anywhere near New Mexico. According to Dixon, a gloydi should have few than 32 blotches (snout to vent) in males and fewer than 37 blotches in females. Its range is the Eastern 1/3 of Texas, with populations in Eastern Oklahoma, Eastern Kansas, and a few isolated populations in Missouri and possibly elsewhere EAST. I have asked on this forum on several occasions for information on anyone breeding gloydi with no response. I am breeding these snakes and have for about 20 years. It bothers me greatly when someone misrepresents animals, either intentionally or unintentionally. The same type of discussion has been heating up on the alterna forum for about a week. Please do not misrepresent your animals. [ Hide Replies ]
