I dont get the hidden genes involved with the platty but understand somewhat many "normal" sibs of those clutches carry a special gene. the pics i see off those look similar but yours looks shades darker. the reduced pattern is sweet. Is it possible the normals have that hidden gene? or am i way off base cause like i said i dont fully get the hidden gene thing in that whole complex of color morphs. any thoughts?
