Hi, I've been looking into hides as well. I've come across one way, that is usually used for smaller lizards, by taking half a soda bottle or something, gluing styrofoam pieces onto to make it look like a rock or log, then putting approximately 3 coats of GROUT on the outside, and two on the inside. You also might want to look into the "Rete's stacks" which provide not only a hide, but a nice basking spot. Goodluck!
