Posted by: daneby at Fri Jul 29 12:12:28 2011 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by daneby ] Some of you might remember the 2 dark hogs (1.1) I had hatch 2 years ago from breeding 2 WC animals from the same location in Cascade County, MT. This year I bred the dark male back to his mother & got 16 babies, 8 are dark ones. Its obvious this is a color morph, but more breeding is needed to find out exactly how it works. I'm thinking I will call them sables because they are dark with a shine & their undertones very from olive to gray, or reddish brown, each one is different. Let me know what you guys & gals think. | ||
