Congradulations. I have had adult female burmese go on hunger strikes that exceeded a year before. The last time was in the late 1980's. I'll never forget it. She was a robust 14 foot female that went down to maybe 40 or 50 pounds before she began eating again. While this may sound like she lost a tremendous amount of weight, it really wasn't. She wasn't even a couple of years old and so was only about 80 or 90 pounds when she was "robust". (juvenile/young adult frame). I still don't know why she did this. I may never know. She was healthy at the time. I have just always assumed that they occasionally 'decide' to do a fast.
