Posted by: bbox at Sun Jul 31 16:09:36 2011 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by bbox ] It was quite a coincidence that Greg posted his hatchling Lavenders yesterday. I came home from a week long trip and found my first clutch of 50% lav x 50% lav hatching. Of the four, one was lavender. I am very excited because this same female laid 16 good eggs in her second clutch. I have 7 more clutches of possible lavenders cooking now. I am holding my breath. I know that I have at least one pair of hets now anyway. BTW, I am glad that everyone has posted photos of their hatchlings before I got mine. I would have been disappointed. They are not very impressive right out of the egg. Mine has already changed since yesterday (after 1st shed). Here are a couple of pics. | ||
