You need to line it with something that will water proof it. FRP or an epoxy resin are what I have used. I like West Systems epoxy the best. It doesn't stink as bad as some other resins. It should be allowed to cure for a couple weeks before you put the monitors in it though. Other people have used Garage floor epoxy to good effect too but i have no experience with it.
