i have had my corn snake for about 10 or 11 years. recently, i have noticed that he is going through the shedding process more frequently. i realize that there are many reasons, like temperature, humidity, stress etc that can cause shedding issues but i do not beleive any of these to be the problem as aside from the change in seasons, all of his conditions are the same. he is active, alert, eating well and in good shape in general.
i plan to take a stool sample and my boy to the vet when the current shed cycle is complete, but i am getting really worried because i cannot figure out why this is happening. can anyone share some insight as to why this may be happening?
