Jeff is a class act and like he said, not wanting to come off poorly by defending his position. Only stepping in when directly challenged by the OP to respond.
Another point not clearly identified IMO is....
Even if Jeff's "Nova" line does not have a new phenotype in the "Super" form, that does not mean there would not be a "Super Nova" produced.
For example the Salmon gene is dominant and there are Super Salmons, Super Sunglows, Super Ghosts and even Super Moonglows.
The point being "Super" in our herp community is used (right or wrong) to identify an animal that is homozygous for a non-recessive trait (dominant or co-dominant). Since the name "Nova" is already used, there will eventually be a "Super Nova" whether Jeff does it or someone else, it will be done.
Nobody is meaning to take away from the absolutely gorgeous animals you have produced, just hard to get past using a name (Supernova) that in all our minds is already associated to another very different line. ----- Thanks,
