That is a LOOOONG time to hold eggs.

We have gotten lots of eggs that looked great, and then died off over time.

Our current success is using an old school large box of deep vermiculite, with the eggs completely buried. We have used the no-substrate boxes for other eggs, including prasinus that went bad. Right now, they will only go in the vermiculite box, that is working well...
