Have you observed any difference in behavior or husbandry requirements from bcc/bci?

We have a collection of boas of at least 200 +. We have produced Boa c. longicaudas in the past by following the same principles as other BCA, BCI, BCC, BCO. Here in Florida the heavy Winter months starts around January to February with the lowest being 32-33 F. Our warehouse is insulated so the ambient temperature stays around the 60's (during winter months). Inside the cages using a Temp gone the cool end is 72 - 75 F and the warm end is around 80 F controlled by a thermostat (again, this is during the winter). Their husbandry is similar to other species. The only species that I have to drop the POTZ (Preferred Optimum Temperature Zone) is in the Boa c. occidentalis which requires a bit more cooler temperatures in order to reproduce.
Arboreal boas such as Crawl Cay, Pearl Island, Corn Island, and other insular boas tend to be more active during the winter months that Boa c. constrictor. Most of it is attributed to high pheromones within the environment. A few times we have to deal with abscess formation or traumatic injuries around the nasal planum (rostral area). Behavior tend to be more different during breeding season.

If dealing with WC specimens of Boa c. longicauda then is another story. All the ones I have are captive born and unrelated.
