Don't jump right to any force feeding. Even a juvenile python can go a couple of months without eating and still bounce back. If they are older and bigger they can go many months without food. Your best bet is just to allow them to settle in to their new environments, don't handle the one not eating. Allow her stress to reduce this way over time as she adjusts. She will eat in her own time. If she doesn't eat after several weeks then you maybe should consider other (safe) force feeding measures, such as a pinkie pump. If it does come to this make sure that it is done right or by someone with experience. Force feeding, when performed incorrectly can be more detrimental than beneficial and can lead to death even sooner than not eating at all. | ||
