My own limited personal experience for the last several months using rabbit pellets with my adults is that it is MUCH easier to clean cage by simply removing the clumped pellets that got moisture. The pellets can be burrowed in and the snakes seem comfortable on the pellets. They do not get ingested that I can visualize, they do not get into water like sanichips do and when I get them at a feedstore as I now learn, the price will be manageable. I have noticed that several people who use them wonder why more people do not. I am also thinking the same now.
