Diagnosing Fecals - Life-Cycle Window?

I have a rescue that has been tested twice by two different vets and the results were negative. We are fairly certain the animal has internal parasites so she was given panacur and flagyl 3x 2 weeks apart.



The fecal is still runny so I had it tested today. My vet says she has parasites and needs panacur and albon. I asked how the snake could negative at the beginning of August and now pop positive. She said it's not always easy to see the parasites because of the eggs and life cycle, or something along those lines. Does that sound right?
