Yep. That's why you should always run another fecal 2 or threee weeks after a negative result if you have some reason to suspect parasites. The parasites may or may not be shedding eggs at any given point in time. Sometimes they seem to be triggered by something such as feeding. At any rate, If I suspect parasites because of mucousy stools, weight loss, or whatever, I will wait a couple of weeks if I get a negative , then run another one. Usually if they are present, they will show up in 2 fecals two or three weeks apart.
