In all honesty I have not personally witnessed this with my Boas either.
Jeff has documented it many times and it can be 1-2 days or even a week or 10 days I believe.
Separate ovary ovulation's really confuse me, I can't figure out why it occurs, there doesn't seem to be a benefit .
Plus I've speculated that the first ovulation uses all the sperm present and the second
if the male doesn't continue to breed would possibly be the reason we see slugs.
Just something I've thought about.
