If this is representative of the cage design, it looks rather dark to me. I use big glass tanks to give my pits as much light as possible (not direct sun, of course). You'd have to install light, I would think. Also, I am wondering about enough ventilation. My big glass tanks have screen tops. Pits seem to need a lot of ventilation. Also, the boaphile cages open from the front, not the top so when you open it the bedding would tend to fall out. With my glass tanks I can give my snakes several inches of aspen to burrow in, and give them more temp gradients as well.
On the plus side, the boaphiles are stackable and look very easy to clean. Also very durable. ----- Bob
