Agreed! We need a community of animal owners of reptile, dog, cat, or fish alike to come together as a whole in order to apply enough pressure to stop this bite from bleeding. Educating Senate, Congress, or citizens about these animals may be beyond us now but I still believe its imperitive to do so in order to combat the situation correctly. Media, legislature, and many people that dont agree with our ownership of these animals use the aspect of "FEAR" driven into Americans minds that we must rely on Govnt to control this issue but in a economic and financial crunch we are in now, how many govnt run organizations are falling apart, losing money, dissolving?
Living in south florida myself, I hear it to often once you mention the word "python" it directly corrilates to everglades and the burmese issue so its already made its impact. I do agreed this issue needs to be nipped but this Ban will only cause more disruption, chaos, releases, and problems. Most of all its a way to increase revenue no different than "red light cameras"!
