I havent really noticed people will larger collections getting out, I have even heard of people still breeding their burmese so that is positive.

What I am seeing is people on the fringe of the community, who may see or hear reports. THey hear the words "Python Ban" and they have a snake or two. They are not connected through online communities very tightly. They are calling my rescue in record numbers. I have fielded over 100 calls for my rescue in the past week of people wanting to surrender their boas and pythons. Seriously.

We really really really really need to stop using the word ban. I know, it is easier to say, but the word ban is not really what occurred. Another issues i am worried it will impact is when states enact actual BANS people wont care because they already think the animals are banned.
