If there is a better, more active forum here on Kingsnake I should post this stuff, please let me know. Most of the ASF keepers/breeders are there though.

I have a few ASFs pop up recently that are slightly different. Their fur is about half the length of a normal ASF. They look sleeker and their fur seems more dense as well. I noticed it when someone came by to purchase a large breeding group and they almost stopped me from putting one into the bin because they though it was a mouse.

Has anyone else come across this before?

I pulled little bits of fur to compare as well. No, they didn't mind. They were quite happy with their corn and mealworms.
