I know what scale rot looks like. I know what RI's look like. I know what abscesses/cists look like. And there is nothing that my snakes can burn themselves on. But I can not figure out what this is. It was not on her when I got her, (at least I don't think so. I didn't notice it if it was) but she hasn't eaten for me yet, and I know that this is the culprit, I was just wondering if the vet would prescribe baytril, or if this can be treated without a vet visit. Thanks.

It kinda looks like scale rot, but on her lower jaw? That is kind of an odd place for it right? And if it was a bite from a previous meal, then wouldn't there be an abscess? I don't see any puss sacs. If I had to describe it in text, I would call it a mix of stuck shed, burn, scale rot, and small abscess all in one. Any input or experience with this kind of thing would be helpful.

I apologize for the cell phone pics, but this is the only device that I have that I can upload pics with.
