Grant ,I am very sorry for your loss ,but happy you and your wife are doing ok .I have always worried about having a fire ,I go in my snake building and all I see are extension cords , controllers , timers ,you know the drill . we all have them .I ended up installing arc fault circuit breakers on my snake building circuits .These breakers will trip when they detect a series or parallel arcing fault ,it doesen't have to be a positive short to trip this breaker . I bought mine a Home Depot for $41.00 each .They are very easy to install , maybe 5 miniutes tops .Anyone with any questions just ask
