Bob,



I currently have two Sonorans, Senoir, the male is going on four years old. He has the greatest "character" of any of my Pits. Not at all shy or retiring. Comes out of his hide purposefully when I am near his enclosure and he has this way of letting me know when he wants out for some cruise time in the "safe" room.



My female (a year-and-a-half old) is the classic shy and retiring Pit that spends a lot of time in the hide or retreats back into it when I approach. I have had others that were the same way so, perhaps Senoir is a pleasant exception.



He was a fortunate find for me - an average Sonoran for where I live, we found him crossing the main highway through town on a busy Friday night in May, 09. Had to wait for several cars to pass before I could get out in the road to get him. Thought he was going to get run over before I got to him but such was not the case fortunately. His easy going personality has been a nice reward ever since...
