biodegradable rodent muzzle???

hello,
i have 2 females that were on f/t, hit about 700g, and stopped eating. i tried different times, lights, different feeders, ect... they are now reliably eating LIVE small rats. it's the only thing they seem interested in. soooo...

anyone ever found a way to prevent the possibility of the snakes getting bit? biodegradable muzzle???

i know there are some people on here with bp's that they don't want to be chewed on either. thanks...
