Personally, and this is just my opinion...
If they are my females, and I am incubating the eggs, I think it's fair I get first pick from a clutch, then they get second, I get third etc etc.
Same goes for if it is their female. They get first pick, I get second.
The females are really the ones at risk when it comes to breeding and egg laying.
