I wasn't aware of that to be honest. It's a shame that they drove away a lot of the great contributors to this forum. This really was THE boa forum to come to.
My guess is the majority of people who used to post here are now comfortable on the sites they've migrated to 
The main reason I don't really start any threads here (aka: contribute) is that the BCC crowd are all now consolidated on another forum so sharing here doesn't really accomplish much. If a person were to measure interest by the number of replies to a thread, the BCC threads receive very little interest here but on other sites, the interest is OVERWHELMING. I've seen the same thread posted here and on another forum and it'll get zero replies here and literally 30 or 40 elsewhere. Personally, if I'm going to go through the trouble of posting a thread, I want to make sure it gets seen (and I'm sure others agree) so it doesn't really make sense to post it here, ya know?
I do try and contribute occasionally when I see something going on that obviously needs some attention (animals need the help more than the owner, for instance).
