I have two male dbl het Albino Pieds hitting one female dbl het Albino Pied...one is 466 and the other is 472. Both still eat every week and when they stop eating I will pull them from the breedings. I don't think they will stop eating because its been about 2 months now...when I started using them they were around 325 grams.
Last year I couldnt get a male to breed under 600 grams and I have a 650 gram Ivory that wont touch a female...its up to the male...when he is ready he will go.
I have heard of others breeding males at 200 grams...
