I use a 20 gallon tank for my 3 foot ball. I think they need more horizontal space.



And leave sexing to the experts. You have to probe them. I had my sexed by a local breeder, but a vet should be able to do it for you. If you do it and you are inexperienced then you could risk hurting your snake. Typically speaking, males are smaller than female. My 3 foot male is 4 years old. My 4 foot female is also 4 years old. Feeding can also depend on it, but for most of the time females are larger.
