Prions are the cause of mad cow disease and come from contaminated food. If you are feeding a mouse/rt that carried the prion protein it could affect your snake. However, different species of snake would have different reactivities to the prion protein and would, therefore, have different susceptibilities to the disease chewing up the brain. | ||
