Posted by: perfectpredators at Mon Apr 9 18:18:55 2012 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by perfectpredators ] its just cayos cochinos, which translates really to pig cays, its perhaps been shortened in recent times by maritime maps or whatever. as a kid i remember my parents refer to them as cayos de cochinos which translates to cays of pigs, not to be confused with bay of pigs, which landed my family in the USA! LOL. the Hogg islands exists (plural) various places are called or have been called this over the centuries, but they are not the ones the boas we are referencing are from. [ Hide Replies ]
